Who is José Arredondo?

José Arredondo (1923 – 1994) owned the legendary ARRCO Electronics shop in Los Angeles. José was known for modifying amps, primarily Marshall®’s, for players such as Eddie Van Halen, Joe Holmes (Ozzy, DLR), John Sykes, Steve Vai, Akira Takasaki (Loudness), James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett (Metallica). His mods have rightly become the stuff of legend and are the MOST sought after high gain amps ever.

What makes this amp so special?

The rarity of having access to an authentic modified Marshall® performed by Jose Arredondo himself. The gain stages have been tweaked to perfection giving what was once a normal Marshall® tone, to a fire breathing monster!
